I have been running an electronics repair shop for three years now. A small business, a couple of people on the team. And honestly, at first we tried everything — from paper flyers to Instagram, but we felt a noticeable difference after posting on Local Business Directory. At first, I was skeptical, because directories used to be associated with something old-fashioned. But a friend insisted, saying, “Well, if it’s free, what do you have to lose?” I registered. And what pleased me was that the posting process is simple: upload a couple of photos, a short description, add a map, contact information, business hours — and that’s it. Literally the next day, someone called and said that they found us in the directory. At first I thought it was a coincidence, but then such calls began to repeat themselves. The trick is that Local Business Directory is really promoted in search engines. When someone types, say, “Quesnel laptop repair,” this directory pops up one of the first. And people, especially locals, are often just looking for "nearby" - they don't have time to travel to Prince George. I've had several clients say, "I typed it into Google and your profile popped up." And it's not because of advertising, but because the directory itself is well indexed.

I live in Prince George and I often use Local Business Directory when I'm looking for local services - especially if I need something urgently and nearby. It's convenient that you can look at the map, read reviews, and not run around social networks and groups in search of information. The platform is simple, but really useful.
